COLOR THEORY SNIPPET

by admin on September 22, 2012

red + blue + yellow = black

did you know that colors composed of pigment (e.g. paint) behave differently than colors composed of light (e.g. theatrical lighting)??  well this was news to esme!

if you mix the primary pigment colors together (red, blue, yellow) you get…..BLACK!  if you mix the primary colors of light together (red, blue, green) you get……WHITE!

how could i ever have thought that science was boring??

the mind boggles,

esme

red + green + blue = white
